§ 138-7. Speed limits established.

  • The maximum speed at which vehicles may proceed on or along any highway within the Township is hereby established at 25 miles per hour, except that the speed limit for vehicles proceeding on or along those highways or parts of highways described below is hereby established at the rate of speed indicated:

    Editor's Note: This ordinance also provided as follows: Any person violating this section is guilty of a summary offense and shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of $35. Any person exceeding the maximum speed limit by more than five miles per hour shall pay an additional fine of $2 per mile for each mile in excess of five miles per hour over the maximum speed limit.
